Meet Samuel P.N. Cook

Samuel P.N Cook graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in European History in 2000. He went on to serve 13 years as a U.S. Army Cavalry Officer including 2 tours in Iraq. He served as the Regimental Adjutant for COL H.R. McMaster during the battle of Tal Afar. He then served as a Cavalry Troop Commander during the surge in Iraq in 2007-2008.

Samuel was selected to go to New York University to Study Russian History with a focus on Ukraine. He then went on to teach European and Russian History at West Point History Department, where he was nominated for teacher of the year.

After he left the Army, he founded James Cook Media and created the StoryMatters Academy which teaches business owners to leverage the power of StoryTelling to Grow their Business. When Russia launched the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he founded the Borderlands Foundation to help Ukraine win the war through StoryTelling.
